Even when planning a relatively small political action, like this one outside of New Orleans City Hall in 2021, tight, cohesive visuals project power and grab attention. I designed three posters and a flyer to communicate our demands. I wanted the posters to be punchy, graphic, and easily readable from a distance, so that City Hall could see them from their windows. For the flyer, I ran with the colors I had chosen and called back to early environmental designs of the 1970's. The designs turned out funky, loud, and powerful, which was a perfect fit for our action and for our movement.
